This sequence was inspired by a tutorial video I watched explaining how to create a fruit splash type shot. I created all of the elements and simulations from scratch including the shaders and texturing. The simulation of the liquid was done using Nextlimit’s Realflow and then imported into Maya for lighting, shading and rendering with Vray.
I rendered out various passes including relfection, refraction, diffuse and z-depth to enable the most amount of freedom. The final compositing and colour correction was done using Adobe After Effects.
